It's a Portland staple. Small dance floor, old school seating with a small balcony. I like it, except the beer prices are ridiculous. $9 a beer. Come on now. I own a kegerator with breakside IPA on tap. It's less than $2 a pint. Your killing us smalls...
I loved the venue. There are no bad seats, although the seats are narrow for us with hips and an ample bottom. The area in front of the stage is spacious enough for dancing. If you sit in the front, be prepared to stand because lots of people rush to the front by the stage. The bar is sufficient. There are 2, and the one closest to the theater only serves beer. You can buy pizza at both bars and a few other snacks like wraps and meatballs from the larger bar. The sound in the theater is booming. I enjoyed it fully!!!
I have loved the Aladin since I was a kid! It's been updated and restored to honor its original glory while providing plenty of seating and space to dance. The restrooms are clean but have 2nd floor access. The food and drink selection is fabulous. All of the staff were courteous.I wouldn't hesitate to buy tickets at this venue again.
